All You Ever Wanted to Know About Insurance

Buying jewelry for Valentine's Day?

If you are buying your special someone jewelry for Valentine's Day, don't forget to call to schedule your fancy new jewelry on your insurance policy.  Why you ask?  Your home insurance policy usually only covers you for $2,500 of jewelry - and that is for loss by theft ONLY.  So, if the jewelry is misplaced, disappears, or a stone falls out you have NO COVERAGE!  For just a few extra dollars we can schedule your special gift on your insurance policy.  By scheduling jewelry, each peice is itemized on the policy with a description and value.  You then get coverage for lost and misplaced items as well as coverage for theft - all with zero deductible.  We recommend scheduling jewelry items valued $1,000 or more, but if you have numerous items under $1,000 per peice it's not a bad idea to schdule those either if they all add up to over $2,500.  Please call us if you have any questions or to schedule your new jewelry.  Happy shopping!
